How to Clean Suede Shoes?

by: filinta

First of all, you should know whether the shoes you bought are suede leather or just suede. Suede leathers generally require more gentle handling.

The points to be considered for cleaning the shoes are as follows:

- Before cleaning the shoes, you should get rid of any mud or similar substances. First of all, you should dry the moisture or wetness of the shoes and then remove the mud. A more accurate method would be to remove it with light blows.

- When cleaning suede shoes, remove the dust with a brush. Afterwards, the cleaning is completed by wiping it with a dish sponge, using a clean and dry soft side.

- Never clean suede shoes by washing them. Washing causes shoes to wear out quickly.

- You can easily clean shoes with suede shoe sprays sold in shoe stores. To do this, simply wipe it with a suede shoe brush or a damp cloth after spraying it.

-Cleaning your suede shoes in this way will allow you to use them for a longer time. If there is a stain that is difficult to remove from your suede shoes, you can remove the stain from the shoe with the help of suede sandpaper. Other than that, do not do any scraping. You may cause the appearance of the shoe to deteriorate. Suede shoes can be dyed with special dyes used by shoemakers.
